Senior Software Project Manager (all genders)

YOUR TASKS

  • Professional customer-facing communication in an industrial setting, involving multiple departments on the customer side;
  • Manage project deadlines, monitoring development progress, reporting;
  • Proactively advance project timelines and execution;
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex features and projects;
  • Requirements engineering based on technical documentation and industrial process descriptions;
  • Create technical specifications for product features based on industrial process requirements;
  • Create technical API specifications for systems integration;
  • Overseeing technical integration testing.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed studies: industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or comparable vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist, project management;
  • Experience in the implementation of ambitious and complex projects - of course, preferably in the field of software;
  • Experience in agile project management and project leadership;
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Must posses the drive to learn the "nuts and bolts" of steel manufacturing workflows and gain a high level of proficiency in our software;
  • Strategic Client Management: Extensive experience managing direct B2B client relationships; with an emphasis on managing external stakeholders rather than internal-only projects or platform development;    
  • High level of understanding for technically complex products and strategic thinking;
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills and enjoy analytical and conceptual work;
  • Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills;
  • “Can-do" attitude, even under pressure;
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and operational project management tools;
  • Fluent in English and German (C1).
